Description
A vintage Murano style art glass bell made in Italy. It features a cobalt blue glass body adorned with white painted classical figures and gold trim. The handle is clear glass with a gold-toned base and top. These bells were part of a line by "Original Creations by KB Italy" and were produced using traditional Murano glass-making techniques, often with 24k gold gilt decoration. "Original Creation by KB" (K.B.) refers to vintage art glass, often Murano-style or directly from Italy's Murano island, imported by the Koscherak Brothers (KB), a New York importer active from the 1950s-70s, known for colorful, handcrafted pieces like swans, bells, and vases featuring millefiori or aventurine gold flecks, recognizable by their distinctive "An Original Creation by K B" stickers. 6" H Good condition.
