Description
A hand-blown blue art glass swan figurine. It features a rich blue body, possibly with controlled bubbles or silver flecks, and a clear glass neck and tail. The figurine is made of art glass using a hand-blown production technique. The body often uses a sommerso technique, where layers of colored glass are superimposed within a clear glass casing to create depth. Glass defects and bubbles are common and consistent with this handcrafted work. It1 features a vibrant blue color, ranging from light aqua to a deep cobalt, contrasting with the clear glass of the neck and tail. The design is elegant and graceful, with a long, curved neck and fanned wings and tail. Some may have a ground or polished bottom edge. Made in Taiwan. H: 4" Good condition.
