Description
An antique sterling silver baby cup, specifically identified by the marks "RLB" and the number "551". The "RLB" hallmark stands for R.L. Blackinton & Co. (later Rogers, Lunt & Bowlen). It is made of solid sterling silver and typically features a gold-washed (gilded) interior. The cup is small, often described as a baby or christening cup, and features an ornate, embossed floral design on the handle.It is engraved with the name "Stephen". These cups were generally produced around the late 19th to early 20th century, specifically circa 1895-1915 for the Blackinton pieces. 1.5" H x 3" W (including handle) x 2" L Good condition.
