Description
A pair of Chinese molded porcelain fish snuff bottles. They are a type of miniature, finely crafted container designed to hold powdered tobacco, popular in China during the Qing Dynasty and still highly collectible today. The bottles are made of porcelain, likely using a mold, and feature a glazed, scaly fish design. They have a small opening at the mouth, topped with a green stopper. The fish motif is significant in Chinese culture, symbolizing wealth, abundance, and harmony. 2 1/2" H Good condition.
