Description
A vintage Chinese mudman figurine depicting three elderly men playing a game of Go. Mudmen figurines are small, handcrafted figures traditionally made from clay, often used in bonsai arrangements. They typically depict diverse characters, including wise men and old sages, inspired by Chinese folklore and daily life. The figures are individually hand-molded, and fingerprints can sometimes still be seen in the fired clay. The piece is mounted on a separate dark wood base. 5" H Good condition.
