Description
A Limoges Castel France porcelain cobalt blue and 22k gold trinket box. The item is made from Limoges porcelain, known for its pure white finish and durability. It features a cobalt blue glaze with hand-painted 22k gold accents. The lid is decorated with a "courting couple" or Fragonard scene, a common motif for Limoges pieces. Limoges boxes were originally designed as snuff boxes and are now collected as decorative items or for holding small trinkets. 2" x 2" Good condition.
