A broken tablet with quote from Aileen Osborn Webb, and a lidded container signed at underside by Chris Collicott. Aileen Osborn Webb (1892-1979) was a leading figure, patron, and philanthropist in the 20th-century American and world craft movements. She was the founder of several major institutions that still exist today, including the American Craft Council, the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD) in New York City, the School for American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), and the World Crafts Council.
