Description
A framed poster for the 25th Annual Sacramento Jazz Jubilee, which took place from May 28-31, 1999. The poster features two dancing cat mascots and the slogan "SOUNDS like fun". The festival often used a cat as a mascot, which is a nod to the "jazz cat" slang term. The festival was organized by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society starting in 1974 and was once one of the most attended music festivals in the US, peaking at nearly 100,000 attendees in the 1980s. The event was held annually on Memorial Day weekend until its final show in 2017. 25" H x 19" W Good condition.
