Description
A vintage Mexican sterling silver figural brooch depicting a man wearing a large sombrero and serape, by the silversmith SAUL. The brooch is a known "book piece" and appears in the book Mexican Silver by Penny Morrill. It is made of 925 sterling silver and stamped "SAUL" on the back. The design is noted for its intricate details, including the geometric pattern on the serape and the man's feet in sandals. L: 2" Good condition.
