Description
A vintage sterling silver brooch/pendant with abalone, made in Iguala, México. The piece is made of sterling silver with an inlay of iridescent abalone, also known as paua shell. The design depicts stylized pre-Columbian figures, two warriors in combat, which is a common motif in Mexican abalone jewelry. It has both a pin and a bail at back so can function as a pin or a pendant. L: 2" Good condition.
