Description
A purple fluorite octahedron gemstone 178.08 carats. Fluorite is a halide mineral composed of calcium and fluorine. It comes in a wide range of colors, and often multiple colors appear in the same specimen. The shape is often a result of miners cutting the mineral along its natural cleavage planes. The word "fluorescent" is derived from fluorite, as it was the first mineral found to exhibit fluorescence. Good condition.
