Description
This is a vintage copper wall plaque that features a hand-hammered / embossed copper panel mounted within a grained wooden frame. It displays a raised bas-relief image of two figures, a boy and a girl, rendered in a folk-art style associated with Asian or Quebecois influences. Simplified facial features and stylized clothing. It was created using repoussé techniques on a thin copper sheet to form the three-dimensional design. This item measures approximately 15.5 inches in height and 12 inches in length, and is in good condition.
