Description
A vintage animated music box produced by Otagiri and made in Japan. The piece is crafted from hand-painted ceramic and depicts two mice seated on a seesaw with a floral element at the center. The figures are finished in contrasting outfits and mounted on a mechanical base. When wound, the seesaw moves up and down as the music plays. Playmates tune. The underside is marked Otagiri, and the item was distributed by Gibson Greetings. The music box measures approximately 5 inches in height and 5 inches in width. It is in good condition.
