Description
A vintage music box produced by Otagiri in 1979. The piece is crafted from glazed ceramic and depicts two squirrels arranged on a textured tree stump base. One squirrel is positioned on the stump, while the second emerges from the top opening. Decorative elements include sculpted oak leaves and acorns applied to the surface. When wound, the squirrel at the top moves up and down and rotates within the stump. The music box plays the song I Will Wait for You . Original Otagiri markings are present, including a gold and black label on the back of the tree trunk and an Otagiri mark on the underside. The music box measures approximately 6 inches in height, 4 inches in width, and 5.5 inches in length. It is in good condition.
