Description
A handmade studio pottery vase signed on the underside. The vessel is formed as a squat, rounded ceramic form with a sculpted human face integrated into the front surface. The facial features are stylized and expressive, with heavy-lidded eyes, a prominent nose, and slightly parted lips, emphasizing an abstract, sculptural approach rather than naturalistic detail. The surface is finished with a mottled, glossy glaze showing blended tonal variation across the form, enhancing depth and texture. The piece reflects studio pottery traditions that combine functional vessel forms with sculptural and artistic expression. The vase measures approximately 7 inches in height, 7 inches in width, and 7 inches in length. It is in good condition.
