Description
A Chinese porcelain vase decorated in the famille rose, or millefleur, style associated with Qianlong-era designs. The surface is fully covered with a dense polychrome floral pattern. The decoration includes a wide variety of flowers rendered in layered enamel colors, with prominent chrysanthemum and peony motifs. This style reflects porcelain traditions developed during the Qianlong period (1735–1796), noted for intricate surface coverage and vibrant enamel palettes. In Chinese decorative symbolism, chrysanthemums are associated with longevity, while peonies represent wealth and honor. The vase measures approximately 10.5 inches in height and 8 inches in width and length. It is in good condition.
