Description
A decorative bonsai-style fruiting peach tree crafted in the traditional Peking glass manner. The sculpture features pink glass peaches with leaves, arranged on branches formed from wire that allows gentle repositioning. The composition is set in a small celadon ceramic pot with a pale greenish-gray glaze, filled with pebbles to secure the structure. This form reflects decorative objects associated with Chinese decorative arts, where peach tree imagery is traditionally linked to longevity and health. The piece measures approximately 10 inches in height, 4.5 inches in width, and 7 inches in length. It is in good condition.
