Description
A print titled Sunny Spring Glee #1 by artist Shirley Novak. The composition depicts poppy flowers arranged against a textured background, with the floral forms rendered using visible, layered brushwork translated into print format. The imagery focuses on poppies in bloom, with stems and blossoms occupying the foreground and a softly treated background surface behind them. Shirley Novak was born in Southern California and developed her artistic practice around floral subjects and color-based compositions. Her work reflects influences from garden-based observation and painterly traditions associated with Impressionist approaches. She has established a career in printmaking, licensing, and fine art production. The print measures approximately 30 inches in height and 30 inches in length. It is in good condition.
