Description
A vintage Pfaff model 1222 household sewing machine introduced in 1968 and manufactured in Germany. The machine is constructed primarily of cast aluminum with nylon internal components and features an industrial-style rotary hook system. It includes Pfaff’s Integrated Dual Feed (IDT) system, designed to feed multiple fabric layers evenly through a built-in walking foot mechanism. The machine offers adjustable stitch length and width, straight and zigzag stitches, decorative stitch options, and a four-step buttonhole function. A free-arm configuration allows access to smaller or tubular sewing areas. The design incorporates an electronic drive system and does not require oiling. This model uses long-shank presser feet specific to the Pfaff 1200 series. The machine comes with its original carrying case. Measurements are approximately 13 inches in height, 16.5 inches in width, and 7 inches in length. It is in good condition.
