Description
A vintage Guardian Service Ware round cast aluminum pot produce between the 1930s and 1956. The pot is made of heavy-duty cast aluminum with a hammered surface finish and is formed with a round body and two side handles. It is accompanied by a tempered glass lid etched with the Guardian Service knight-and-swords logo; glass lids of this type were used during the World War II era due to aluminum shortages. The cookware was designed for the Guardian Service “waterless” cooking method, which relied on a domed lid to retain moisture during use. These pieces were originally sold through door-to-door sales and in-home demonstrations rather than retail stores. The pot measures approximately 6.5 inches in height, 10 inches in width, and 8 inches in length. It is in good condition.
