A group of nine pieces of black tourmaline, also known as schorl. This mineral is a form of tourmaline and is prized for its dark appearance. The crystals display a deep black color, which can sometimes appear dark brown. They are naturally occurring prismatic crystals, typically exhibiting vertical striations or facets along their length, which are visible in the image. Many pieces shown are "terminated" crystals, meaning they have a natural, pointed tip at one or both ends.
