Description
A vintage pendant necklace crafted in the Art Deco style, which was popular from the 1920s to around 1935. The design showcases the era's signature. The piece exhibits a classic Art Deco aesthetic, known for clean lines, sharp angles, and symmetrical patterns, which were a distinct departure from earlier, more flowing styles like Art Nouveau. The pendant features a tiered, structured design centered around a large, faceted, possibly pear-shaped, clear stone, surrounded by smaller accent rhinestones. This emphasis on geometric cuts, such as baguette and emerald shapes, and the use of white metals (platinum or white gold were popular, as was sterling silver) are hallmarks of the period.
