Description
Group of three raw uncut andalusite gemstones. Andalusite is an aluminium nesosilicate mineral known for its distinctive color variations, which can range from earthy shades like pink, salmon-red, brown, green, and yellow. One of the most notable properties of andalusite is its strong pleochroism (specifically trichroism), meaning it can display up to three different colors (usually shades of green, brown, and red) when viewed from different angles. In its raw form, it often occurs as prismatic crystals and can be transparent to opaque. It has a hardness of 6.5 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale. Good condition.
