This piece is a brooch designed in the shape of a buffalo or bull, featuring inlaid turquoise, onyx, and spiny oyster. Robert Vandover is a notable silversmith from the Navajo Nation known for his precise channel inlay work, where stones are cut to fit snugly within silver channels.
