Description
An antique Chinese carved elm wooden window panel, likely dating from the 19th century Qing Dynasty period. These panels were originally incorporated into larger architectural elements within a room design. The panel features intricate, hand-carved fretwork designs and a central medallion with detailed carvings, depicting birds and natural elements. It would originally have been used as interior window panels or room dividers. It has a dark wood frame, which contrasts with the natural wood tone of the central carving. The frame is accented with round gold discs. H: 22" | W: 24" Good condition.
