Description
This is a vintage netsuke-style figure depicting Shouxing (Shou Lao), the Chinese god of longevity, crafted from resin with incised, hand-colored detailing. The material is designed to resemble aged ivory or bone, consistent with traditional netsuke reproductions. Shouxing is portrayed with his characteristic high, domed forehead and long beard, holding a peach—the classic Chinese symbol of immortality.Signed on the bottom by the artist. The piece captures the charm and style of Japanese netsuke carving while incorporating Chinese iconography associated with long life. H: 2" | W: 2" | L: 1" , good condition.
