Description
This Royal Worcester Evesham Gold covered casserole is a fine porcelain serving piece decorated in the classic hand-painted fruit motif with 22k gold trim. Made in England as part of the “Oven to Table Ware” line, it features a lidded round body with dual side handles, a domed cover with a gilded knob, and richly colored depictions of corn, plums, and other fruit on a glossy white ground. The underside bears the Royal Worcester mark reading “Royal Worcester® Fine Porcelain – Made in England – Oven to Table Ware – Eversham Shape 23.” A well-preserved example of this iconic pattern, it displays bright glaze, clean gold detailing, and no noted damage. H: 6", W: 11", good condition. Discontinued pattern, circa: 1961 - 2015.
