Description
Vintage wall-mounted curio display cabinet by The Bombay Company, produced in the 1990s. The cabinet features a classic traditional design with an arched top pediment, shaped bottom base, and angled sides that create a subtle hexagonal or octagonal form. It is constructed from wood with a rich cherry / mahogany-tone finish, and includes clear glass side panels along with a single glass-front door. The cabinet is accented with a decorative gilt-finish floral swag appliqué on the pediment and has a brass knob with a magnetic closure. Bombay Company, founded in 1975, became well known for producing mahogany-finished reproductions of 18th–19th century English furniture and decorative home pieces. This example reflects that history with its refined, colonial-inspired styling. H: 23" | W: 20" , good condition.
