Description
This is a large, cylindrical porcelain vase—or umbrella stand—decorated with fully hand-painted floral motifs. The piece is formed in a straight rouleau shape and stands 19 inches tall, making it suitable for use as a floor vase or functional entryway umbrella holder. It is made of ceramic with a white base glaze and features large pink and magenta blossoms with green leaves painted across the body. The top and bottom are encircled with ornate multicolor border bands incorporating floral and foliate elements in green, brown, yellow, and blue. The decorative style reflects East Asian influence, drawing from traditions such as Chinese Famille Rose or Japanese Imari, but executed in a distinctive color palette. H: 19" | W: 8" , good condition.
