Description
An antique Asian harvest or fisherman’s basket featuring a tightly woven willow body and a distinctive triple bentwood handle secured with traditional wooden pins. The basket displays a rounded, elongated form with a finely textured weave typical of rural utilitarian craftsmanship from late Qing to early Republic-period China. Originally used for gathering vegetables, grains, or for carrying daily provisions, the piece now shows an appealing, authentic patina consistent with age and use. Measures approximately H: 22.5" | W: 14" | L: 14". Good condition.
