Description
Chinese Famille Rose Hand-Painted Porcelain Figure of Shouxing, the God of Longevity. This porcelain figure represents Shouxing, the revered Chinese deity symbolizing long life, depicted with his characteristic high-domed head, long white beard, and joyful expression. The figure is decorated in the traditional Famille Rose palette, featuring vivid overglaze colors and detailed artwork throughout. Shouxing wears an ornate light-yellow robe decorated with longevity symbols including peaches and cloud motifs, with additional red, green, and blue accents along the cuffs, hem, and tassels. He holds an elaborately painted scroll bearing a traditional blessing of longevity (“Shou Bi Nan Shan”), and stands on an integral base while dressed in purple trousers and red shoes. The piece is numbered on the bottom. Measures approximately H: 14" × W: 6.5" × L: 4.75". Good condition.
