Description
An Inuit soapstone carving depicting a whale, likely a humpback, with its tail fluke resting on a natural, unworked base, evoking the sense of the creature emerging from Arctic waters. The sculpture is rendered in mottled shades of dark green, black, and brown, with a smooth, polished body contrasted against the rough, textured base. Dimensions: H: 19" | W: 14". Condition: Good.
