Description
A large vintage woven conical wicker basket. The basket is woven from natural fibers and is referred to as a "burden basket" or "harvest basket". This specific style of weaving, where the there is a wider, flatter weave on the bottom half, and a more delicate, tightly-woven pattern on the top, is found in various traditions. Basket measures 16" x 15" x 15" and is in good condition.
