Description
This is an antique Chinese wooden rice measure or bucket, likely from the early 20th century. It has a square, tapered shape constructed from small wooden panels joined with dovetailed joints or metal fittings. The bucket features a large, curved wooden handle attached with through-pegged joints and displays a dark, rich patina from long use. Historically used for measuring and transporting rice, it is now suitable as a decorative object. It measures H: 12" | W: 17" and is in good condition.
