Description
It is a vintage Dixco tachometer manufactured by Dixson Inc. in the 1960s–1970s. It has a chrome housing, a black face with white markings, and an 8,000 RPM range. The face is marked "DIXCO" and "DIXSON PRODUCTS CO., VASHON WASH., U.S.A." It was used in muscle cars and some special vehicles, including Yenko, Baldwin Motion, and Nickey models. It works with factory points and GM HEI distributors, though a module or adapter may be needed for some aftermarket ignition systems. It is in good condition.
