Description
This Japanese Imari porcelain ginger jar features a traditional Kinrande style, characterized by underglaze cobalt blue with overglaze red, gold, and occasional green and burgundy accents. The hand-painted design includes floral motifs, birds, and geometric patterns, with symbolic elements such as chrysanthemums for longevity and Karakusa gold swirls for luck, prosperity, and eternity. The jar comes with a matching lid and rests on a separate wooden stand. Good condition.
