Description
Studio pottery plate by artist Blanche Schopp. The plate is a round, shallow dish, likely made of stoneware or clay, and hand-thrown on a pottery wheel. It features a mottled, speckled grey glaze that covers most of the surface. The rim and unglazed foot are finished in a contrasting reddish-brown glaze, adding warmth and definition to the piece. The center of the plate is highlighted with a flowing, greenish-white glaze applied in a vertical, drippy pattern over the speckled grey background. The plate is signed on the bottom by the artist. H: 1.18" | W: 12.8" | L: 12.8", good condition.
