Description
This vintage decorative wall mask is crafted from clay. It showcases a stylized, detailed face with pronounced features including a wide mouth with teeth, prominent lips, and large circular ear spools. A large, fan-like headdress extends from the top, featuring multiple layers and textures, with a small figure or face at its center. Hand-painted in earthy tones and muted colors—reds, oranges, greens on the headdress, and a light beige or terracotta base for the face—the paint shows subtle wear. The mask symbolizes an indigenous warrior or deity, possibly representing an Aztec Eagle Warrior. Good condition.
