Description
It is a 1987 bust sculpture by Gillian Hodge, made of clay or a similar material. The figure has a rough, textured surface with deep-set hollow eyes, a small open mouth, a prominent nose, and a cap or headdress. The torso features vertical incised lines and small circular indentations suggesting a patterned garment. The sculpture has an earthy, weathered finish in tones from light beige to reddish-brown, with cracks and an uneven surface. It measures H: 18" x W: 13.5" and is in good condition.
