Description
A vintage pair of AR-2ax acoustic suspension loudspeakers by Acoustic Research, dating to the late 1960s/early 1970s. This three-way speaker system features a 10" woofer, a 3.5" midrange, and a 0.75" tweeter, with adjustment controls on the back panel. The speakers are housed in wood veneer cabinets with their original linen grille cloths. One speaker is shown with serial number 176006. The measurements are 24" (H) x 14" (W) for each speaker. The pair is in good, as-found condition; the speakers are untested, and the cabinets have scratches and water stains on the tops.
