Original hand-colored photograph by Wallace Nutting, depicting a charming rural cottage with a garden path leading to its door. The surrounding garden is filled with vibrant flowers, including larkspur. The piece is signed and titled by the artist and framed with a double mat. Wallace Nutting (1861–1941) was an American minister, photographer, and entrepreneur who popularized the Colonial Revival style through hand-colored photographs and reproduction furniture. His idealized New England landscapes and interiors were widely collected in the early 20th century and remain an important part of American photographic history. Dimensions: 12" H x 15" W. In good condition.
