Description
This item is a vintage Chinese seal paste container, traditionally used for calligraphy, painting, and stamping with a personal seal or "chop." It is made of cinnabar red resin and has a hexagonal base intricately carved with a geometric pattern and Chinese characters. The top features a carving of two mythical creatures, likely Foo Dogs, in a dynamic pose. It measures H: 2" | W: 2" | L: 2" and the condition is good.
