Description
An antique European carpenter's workbench, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Constructed from solid wood, this heavy-duty piece features a thick plank top with a tool well, a sturdy trestle base, a front leg vise, and an end tail vise. The top surface is covered with a deep and authentic patina of cuts, stains, and holes from a lifetime of use. Originally a workshop piece, these benches are now highly sought after for use as console tables, kitchen islands, or sideboards. The item's measurements are 32" (H) x 100" (W). It is in good antique condition, structurally solid with wear consistent with its age and utilitarian history.
