Description
An original, hand-carved and hand-painted wooden Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost) figure from Russia. The piece is hand-signed on the base in Cyrillic by the artist. This beautiful example of Russian folk art is carved from a solid piece of wood and intricately hand-painted. The Ded Moroz wears a long, flowing robe in shades of teal and blue, decorated with celestial motifs including stars and a crescent moon. He holds a tall, decorated staff. The item's measurements are 7" (H) x 2.5" (W) and it is in good condition.
