Description
An antique Chinese porcelain garden seat from the late Qing Dynasty to Republic period. The piece is decorated in the famille rose (pink family) palette, a style known for its opaque pink overglaze enamels. This barrel-shaped stool features two large cartouches depicting a dragon and a phoenix, traditional symbols of marital bliss. The body is covered in a geometric pattern with decorative bands and applied bosses, and the top and sides are pierced with "cash" coin motifs. The item's measurements are 19" (H) x 12" (W) and it is in good condition.
