Description
An antique Chinese tapered cabinet, likely from the Shanxi Province, dating to the 19th century. Constructed from solid elmwood, this piece embodies the simple and elegant design principles of Ming furniture. The cabinet features a distinctive tapered profile, two doors with a traditional brass latch, and an interior with shelving. The item's measurements are 48" (H) x 39.5" (W). It is in fair antique condition; it has a wobble and shows significant wear, shrinkage, and patina consistent with its age and history.
