Description
An antique 26-drawer apothecary or chemist's cabinet, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. This functional storage unit features its original labels with gilt lettering, identifying contents such as "POTASS. NITR.," "COTTON WOOL," and "FULLER'S EARTH." The drawers retain their original black hexagonal knobs. This cabinet is a fascinating historical record of 19th-century pharmacy practice. The item's measurements are 33" (H) x 51" (W) and it is in good antique condition, with a rich patina and wear consistent with its age and utilitarian history.
