Description
A large, framed, limited edition mixed-media print by the American artist J.B. Thompson (1932-1984), titled "Earth Pattern." The piece is hand-signed, titled, dated 1971, and numbered 23 out of a small edition of 35. This abstract work is a prime example of Thompson's innovative techniques, featuring dramatic textural relief from his masterful use of the carborundum process. His work often explored metaphysical diagrams intended to represent the Earth’s physical cosmos. The print is matted and housed in a modern silver-tone metal frame. The item's measurements are 35" (H) x 28.25" (W) and it is in good condition.
