Description
A vintage handmade chalkware Santa Claus figure in the Belsnickle style from Fairfield's of La Habra, California. This piece is an example of primitive-style American folk art, depicting a tall, slender Santa in a red coat carrying a black sack. The figure is hand-painted and stands on an integrated green base. The bottom is stamped "Fairfield's La Habra, Calif. Made in U.S.A.". The item's measurements are 11" (H) x 4" (W) and it is in good condition, with minor paint wear consistent with its age and material.
