Description
A vintage Mid-Century Modern pottery decanter (mold V-4) with its original stopper by Frankoma. This limited edition piece is hand-signed on the base "John Frank," the pottery's founder. It features a textured matte brown glaze contrasted with a glossy black glaze. Frankoma Pottery was founded in Oklahoma in the 1930s by John Frank, a professor of ceramics at the University of Oklahoma, who sought to create beautiful and functional art from local clays. The item's measurements are 5 in x 5 in x 13 in and it is in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks.
